In the result, the suit is decreed for a part of the suit claim directing defendant no.1 (lead insurer), defendant no.2 and defendant no.3 (co-insurers) to pay, in proportion to their respective liability under the Industrial All Risk Policy i.e., 70%, 20%, and 10% respectively, an amount of Rs.17,79,49,946/- (Rupees Seventeen Crores seventy nine lakhs forty nine thousand nine hundred and forty six only) with interest @ 12 % per annum from 12.05.2003 till the realisation of the suit debt.
