DAILY ORDER | |||||||||||
Heard Mr J. Sudheer, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr.V. Vinod Kumar, learned Senior Central Government Standing Counsel for Respondents. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the applicant that the name of the applicant is in the zone of consideration for promotion and the charge sheet was issued to him with an ulterior motive to deprive him of the promotion. On the other hand, the learned Senior Central Govt., Standing Counsel for the Respondents submit that the applicant did not even offer his explanation for the charge memo and therefore objects for passing interim order. 2. Having gone through the submissions on either side, it is seen that the charges relate to investigation conducted by the applicant without the approval of the Competent Authority way back in the year 2015 as well as other trivial matters. Taking into consideration the fact that the juniors of the applicant have been promoted and also keeping in view the fact that the charges do not relate to the integrity of the applicant, we direct that there shall be stay of enquiry for a period of six weeks. 3. Post on 15.11.2017. |
