Through Video Conferencing: Heard Sri K.R.K.V. Prasad, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. Sri T. Sanjay Reddy, representing Sri T. Hanumantha Reddy, learned Senior Panel Counsel takes notice for the respondents and seeks time for filing reply. 3. The applicant was working as a Substitute Telephone Attendant Dak Khalasi attached to the 4th respondent. On transfer of the officer, the applicant was advised to go and report to the respondents for continuation of the service. However, the applicant was not continued. On the contrary, a termination notice dated 12.11.2020 was issued stating that he will be deemed to be terminated w.e.f. 11.12.2020 i.e. the date on which one month’s notice period expires. The applicant submits that he has been conferred temporary status and, therefore, his services cannot be terminated by way of a discharge simplicitor. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that there is a provision to do so within the rules. However, as submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant, the applicant has been terminated from service since November, 2019 and he has not been paid salary. 5. In view of the above, the respondents are directed to file a reply within three weeks, so that the matter can be finally disposed. List before Registrar for completion of pleadings on 28.12.2020. On receipt of reply case be listed before the bench.
