Heard Mr.N.Vijay, learned counsel for the applicant.  Mrs.K.Rajiha, learned Senior Central Government Standing Counsel for Respondents takes notice for the Respondents.

2.     The applicant is aggrieved by his transfer from Ongole to Kavali even though his retirement is scheduled to take place within ten months. He submits that impugned transfer order is violative of the transfer policy which stipulates that ‘the officers who are likely to attain superannuation in next two years will be given posting at the place of their choice’ and that he was transferred to Ongole at his own request.  The learned counsel for the applicant, therefore sought for a direction to the Respondents not to relieve him from the present station by way of interim relief.

3.   Mrs.K.Rajitha, learned Senior Central Government Standing Counsel sought time to obtain instructions.

4.     Post on 11.07.2017 for consideration of interim relief.

5.   In the meantime, the Respondents are directed to maintain status quo in respect of the applicant with regard to impugned order dated 30.06.2017.
