DAILY ORDER

  1. By means of present O.A, the applicant seeks quashing of order dated 23.01.2014 (Annexure A-6).
  2. Counsel representing the applicant submitted that though the applicant was granted four increments by giving benefit of military service rendered by him during the national emergency  but his pay was wrongly fixed @ Rs. 1200/- w.e.f. 01.01.1986 whereas as per the pay revision table his pay is to be fixed @ Rs. 1470/- which the respondents have not done. Resultantly the applicant was deprived from the benefit which was to be granted to him for the service rendered during national emergency. Though, the respondents have filed an affidavit wherein they submitted that the applicant has rightly been granted four increment  but they have not come with a clear plea as to why they have not fixed his pay @ Rs. 1470/- when he was getting pay @ Rs. 480 in the unrevised pay scale. It is also seen from Annexure A-6 (Colly.) at page 24.
  3. In view thereof, the respondents are directed to file an affidavit clarifying the above position.
  4. List this matter on 03.10.2017.
