FOR RESPONDENT(S) Advocate :
A RADHA KRISHNA, SR.PC FOR CG

DAILY ORDER

Through Video Conferencing

Heard Sri Siva, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri A. Radhakrishna, learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing for the respondents.

2.  This is regarding selection to the post of Inspector of Post Offices in the respondent’s organization. The respondents have rejected the application of the applicant on the ground that he has wrongly bubbled the Hall Ticket Number.  Based on this, an interim order  dated 01.07.2020 was passed by this Tribunal wherein the respondents were prohibited from declaring the results.  The respondents have filed MA/21/274/2020, requesting to vacate the stay since it would adversely affect the work efficiency of the respondents organisation. Learned counsel submitted that the respondents themselves decided to postpone declaration of results in view of some discrepancies noticed in regard to the exam in question. Hence there is no sufficient reason to vacate the stay. He also prayed for one week’s time to submit certain judgements to support applicant’s contentions.

3.  In view of the above and after hearing the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, the interim order passed on 01.07.2020 is modified to the extent of directing the respondents not to fill up one post   of Inspector of Post Offices for which the examination under reference has been conducted, till the O.A. is disposed of. Respondents can proceed to fill other vacancies in the usual course. MA/21/274/2020 is accordingly disposed of.

 4.  List the case on 04.09.2020.
