Heard Mr. B. Gurudas, learned counsel appearing for the applicant. 

2.  Mrs. K. Rajitha, learned Senior Central Government Standing Counsel takes Notice for the Respondents.  Six weeks time granted for filing reply.

3.  It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the applicant that under Rule 3 of GDS (Conduct & Employment) Rules 2001, the post of GDS MD is not a transferable post and moreover if at all he is to be transferred at his request or on any other ground relating to public interest, the concurrence of CPMG is essential.  The impugned transfer order does not satisfy the above requirements.  

4.  It is further submitted that the representations submitted by the applicant regarding cancellation of transfer are pending with Respondent No.1.

 5.  Under these circumstances, Respondent No.1 is directed to dispose of the representations submitted by the applicant dated 30.11.2017 & 8.12.2017  as per the Rules laid down in Annex.A-7 of the O.A. and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks.  Till such time, there shall be interim suspension of the impugned transfer order.
