Heard Mr. M. C. Jacob, leaned counsel for the applicant and Mr. S. M. Patnaik, learned Standing Counsel for Respondents.

2.   The relief prayed in this application by the applicant herein is that the Left Thumb Impression be sent for forensic examination in the Scientific Laboratory. Learned Standing Counsel for the Respondents submits that due to passage of time, the impression got faded and report is submitted accordingly.  Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the copy of the report of the Scientific Laboratory be placed on record.

3.    After hearing counsel on both sides, we grant liberty to the Respondents to file Additional Reply with all material available along with the report of the Scientific Laboratory with an advance copy to the other side, who may also file his objections.

4.     This MA is disposed of with the above direction.
