Heard the learned counsel for the applicants.
2. MA No.338/2017 is filed by the applicants seeking leave to join together in one O.A. Since the cause of action for the filing the O.A is common and the relief sought for by the applicants is one and the same, the MA is allowed.
3. Mrs. K. Rajitha, learned Senior Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents and seeks six weeks time for filing reply.
4. The applicants prayed for interim suspension of the impugned orders dated 3.5.2017 on the ground that they were promoted to the post of JTA (D) way back in 2013 and these orders reverting them to their previous post i.e. Drilling Assistant are issued after 4 1/2 years without prior notice.
5. After hearing the learned counsel on both sides and perusing the material on record, the impugned orders No.1246/A-32016/6/10/16A/ Vol.II & No.1247/A-32016/6/10/16A/ Vol.II dated 3.5.2017 are suspended till filing of reply by the respondents.
6. List the O.A. on 27.6.2017 along with the connected OA No.400/2017.
7. In this case, interim order exists till filing of reply by the respondents. As such, it is incumbent on the department and the learned counsel for the respondents to ensure that reply is filed within the stipulated time.
