This petition has been filed for effecting substituted service for the 1st Respondent/1st Defendant. The petitioner side has paid batta for the 1st Respondent/1st Defendant several times and it has resulted in vain. However, it is necessary to cause service for the 1st Respondent/1st Defendant in the interest of Justice. Hence, this court is inclined to effect service by way of Substituted Service. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to effect paper publication in any Tamil daily newspaper, which is being circulated in and around the last residing place of 1 Respondent/1" Defendant i.e. Thoothukudi District before 25.02.2026.
