Later on, Accused Susankar Sutradhar @ Biki surrendered before the Court today and has filed a petition No. 1402/2025, stating that he received the summons in the year 2024, but the same was lost, therefore, he could not appear before the Court. That he shall face the trial regularly without any fail and has prayed for allowing him to remain on his previous bail. Perusal of case record shows that on 19.12.2023, NBWA against the accused got issued which is still pending, however, earlier, the accused was granted bail vide order dated 02.11.2022 passed by Hon’ble Special Judge, Nagaon in B.A. 1130/2022, reflected vide order dated 04.11.2022. Apparently, the accused receiving summon in the year 2024 is not convincing. Considering all aspect, the prayer stands allowed, but on imposition of cost of Rs. 1,000/-, payable to DLSA, Nagaon.
